WilburWilburOf the sights (and sounds) of the Petzold Publishing grand headquarters, the hands down favorite of all visitors is our loving pig Wilbur. Wilbur is a Vietnamese Pot-bellied Pig who has adapted well to the climate of the Northwest. Current estamates place him in the >150lb range. He is very friendly, especially if you have food to offer. Passing cyclist, who see him near the gate, are welcome to offer him apple cores, pear cores, moldy PowerBars. . . heck, he'll eat almost anything but brocclii. Feed him once and your a friend for life. Just shout, "Wilbur, treats!" and he'll come a runnin'. On occasion, he may get out of the gate and onto the road. His vision is poor, so he uses the centerline as a guide and will follow it up and down the street in search of an over-ripe apple tree.
